Who drives this heart?

Who drives this heart?

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Who drives this heart?

What is this vehicle
called love
that drives the heart
to a euphoric end
of eternal bliss,
or dwindle into cinders
crashing into the abyss
of tomorrow's sorrows
where cupid's arrows
lay wasted.

You could have been a contender...
Good conveyance of feelings driven by strong images. I don't know why I was seeing the flipping video arcade game Moon Patrol. I think it's because your writing leans in the main towards comedy (with a message attached), that there's a mind-association going on when I see your name now.
I wish I'd written this.
