You wouldn't stay!

You wouldn't stay!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I couldn't leave our page,
I wanted our page left opened,
but you gleefully turned
the page on closing;
you had a new chapter waiting.

Nice metaphor...you make the reader feel that ache of having to accept a change in your life, and of learning how to let go of something you love..

A perfect thought, elegantly presented.
