The cupboard is full, but for you it's empty!

The cupboard is full, but for you it's empty!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The cupboard is full, but for you it's empty!
Only hope was given
to those in need
but nothing was given
to those that needed.
Empty platter anyone!
Help yourself!

oh my...surprising cynicism from you andrew! you have laid bare the powerful of all ilk and platform .. i can not help but think of how it may be for such as in your poem ...as they stand alone before God (as the Bible tells me so) it is written we will all have a surprise coming :O deep thinking, clever word use, striking irony and social cynicism .. well done my friend!
