A Poem by andrew mitchell
"

a bit of wackiness, a touch of madness brought on by..... see note for reviewers.

"
There was never a full stop in writing!
There was no rhyme in reason,
as reason was lost
in the words of rhyme.
As one slid down the hook
of a question,
the answer was clawed back
in the end line, full stop!
Where cries were held back
on the exclamation mark,
commas had a disregard for closure,
leaving open the inevitable,
a full stop........ paused.
While more questions, answers
laid in the queue waiting,
maybe reason was off the grid!
And in all this mumble jumble,
there was never a crossword!

I do hate cryptic crosswords, always fooled by their cleverness.

I like how you put your love for crosswords into a poem. An entertaining read, leaving me visualizing every word!
