Footsteps scuff a bleeding heart.

Footsteps scuff a bleeding heart.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Footsteps scuff a bleeding heart.
When uncertainty crosses
the border into love,
insecurities mount
as war of words
disembark attacking
the heart on foot
under the dark of night.
