Never to be repeated.

Never to be repeated.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Never to be repeated.
In hindsight,
turning the clock back,
on the Titanic's misfortune sinking,
brought about the new
vessel called the Giganteum.
In the inauguration of its
release from its moorings
the ship rapidly slid
down the docks,
but stopped.
Spectators and news crew
looked on the inevitable,
apparently, the ship had reached
New York from London.
It was giganteum.

Was there really a new ship like this!? After this poem I'll probably look something up, I love this poem though. The fear of the past repeating itself, but then when something goes just fine it brings a point of joy into our hearts.
