To be alarmed by no alarm!

To be alarmed by no alarm!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

To be alarmed by no alarm!
Is there cause to be
alarmed,
if the alarm
did not ring,
I think so....
I'm late for work!

I also think so Andrew. I loved reading this small piece. No alarm rings a bigger alarm, sometimes.
Thank you for this one.

yes we certainly try and its no leap of faith
dear Andrew... our mind is mesmerized to remember our habits... and seems to wake us without alarm. So much more to heaven and earth... truly, Pat

you got it mercy party it was a wake up call.
I enjoyed this .It invited me to ponder ..If an alarm rings and no one hears it..
Does it really make a sound ? Could it be possible that your bosses alarm was unheard as well ? Good timing for a positive thought no need to be alarmed
