Purely gravitational!

Purely gravitational!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

When it came to orbiting your love,
I was more an electron circling you,
in need, while you were,
the elusive celestial atom.

But just when I thought.
I was getting close
to your perihelion,
as you were moving fast,
you changed your axis.

and now I find in your
new aphelion state of mind,
I am the farthest from
your focus.

At a point of no return.

One moment we are all they want - next we are everything they hate. Brilliant metaphor A.M.
