A tilt in the axis of parallel thinking.

A tilt in the axis of parallel thinking.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

He didn't see himself as being bald,
he saw himself as having hair once.

She didn't see herself as being fat,
she saw herself as being slim once.

They didn't see themselves as being divorced,
they saw themselves as being married once.

He didn't see himself as being poor,
he saw himself as having nothing.

She didn't see herself as being rich
she saw herself wanting more.

He didn't believe he was getting old,
he always felt eternally young.

He didn't want to see the future
he just liked living in the past.

Now she can't see the light,
overshadowed by her shadows dark.

They didn't see the tilt in change
disguised in the throes of time,
but they accepted
living in parallel worlds,
as being quite relative.
