I give up!

I give up!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In the language of love
which came after
the word yes
was it no,
and was there a yes in no?

We'll never know,
it all started with a club,
the club always had
the final say in the
hands that mattered.

Back then it was just manners,
no questions asked,
giving more bang for your buck!

That first line is a bit mind boggling (in a good way).
i'm guessing this could be about the mob. far fetched, maybe. I really enjoy how all your poems have a riddle element to them. very cool!
