Hooked on your line I was cast.

Hooked on your line I was cast.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

You were no more,
but a lake blue;
to drown in your love,
but you had me
cast adrift not connected.

Did severed thoughts
sent adrift
come together
on tides of peace
knowing the separation?

Hooked on your line
I was cast,
as our tides changed

your poem inspires me to go celestial on ya! two very foreign worlds "never the twain to meet" :(
I think your title is especially good .. just the right bit of mind tweek to challenge but not baffle me ..(not hard to do) ;}
it's tough to be held "on the line" ..we get played .. masterfully at times ...trivial hearts ..just there for amusement .. glad your protagonist grasped that two tides had changed and not just one .. leaves me with a bit of fairness .. :)

Thanks E for reading!
Either we grow together or grow apart but we will grow regardless. Communication is the key. But sometimes it is what it is.
Deeply poignant A. M.
