I missed the change?

I was no more me then,
as I am in the now,
both seemed the same,
just bridges joining,
of times permitting.

We barely notice our changing and growing psyche but others - especially those who haven't seen us in a while can be quite surprised by the difference.
I thought of the 'manopause' while I read this one A.M.
