Taking on board the adventure.

Taking on board the adventure.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

There was no going back,
the rear vision gone,
the only way through,
the magnetic attraction
of the fulcrum drawing
those to a point
In the distance vying for attention,
be it a goal, a better place,
more time given,
but out of reach
In no man's land
of simple minds
where only the ray of hope
lied in a shimmering mirage,
diminishing, confusing,
punishing those
who dared to take a gamble.
