A spartan's greek platter dilemma.

A spartan's greek platter dilemma.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

What hides behind
the shield that protects
lies man's contempt,
and the spears
that thrust forward
trying to end it.

This is an unexpected pop of satire . . . brings to mind the seeming insistence (of those in power) on projecting a stance of aggression & confrontation, rather than a more conciliatory approach. It's hard not to read this with the current state of USA politics in mind! But I also realize this is a worldwide trend *sigh!* Fondly, Margie

Thank you Ken, an honour to have you visit my friend.
Wow, one of my favs from you, what drives the warrior and keeps them focused, the spear becomes the medium that delivers their own charge or willpower...brilliant :)
