Rule Britannia in Love.

Rule Britannia in Love.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The battalion of thoughts
marched on....
in Roman formation, shielded.

The attention to detail, flagged
was broken by the recognition
that my thoughts dispatched
were being invaded, attacked
by her Viking forces.

When I beached her shores
in the name of love,
I had little resistance,
she surrendered, I conquered,
she's mine for evermore,
but her infiltration
was nothing more
than her being the Trojan horse..
