Brush strokes.

Brush strokes.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The canvas was you.
but the paint was mine;
you picked up
on my brush strokes.

Let me guess. Not that simple of a piece. or is it? I don't think this is about art at all.
To me this poem highlights a close relationship between a couple or friends and how they merge their traits with time, love and most importantly with sacrifice. Please tell if i am looking at a mirage or just art?

Thank you for writing.
