i like this Andrew. short & powerful. very thought provoking. when we are young we have the energy and curiosity to do & think many things usually in foolishness. in age comes wisdom when we come to our senses but we lose the curiosity & energy. kind of a double edged sword - damned if we do & damned if we don't. so i guess we just live for today - grab hold and suck out all the marrow that you can, while you can, without getting yourself in trouble. the testimony is the legacy we leave and the impact we have on the world & others!
stunning portrait of the careless of youth. your poetry never fails to have the reader to pause for a moment to ponder upon realities, the consequences of one's behaviors in life.
another gem of a write that's testimony to your unique word play , speaks volumes
thank you for sharing - x
