I walked your tight rope.

I walked your tight rope.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

You had me walk
your tight rope,
the infusion
of cold thoughts
had me dangling
precariously
over your depths
of no love returned.

But I fell,
I drowned
in your storm
of emotions;
I thought.
I was...
impermeable.

I wasn't.
