The Mad Chatter's Ball.

The Mad Chatter's Ball.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

I never did win
an argument against
my mind chatters,
an inner conversation
that disrupts, distracts
the activities of the
external world....
with the incessant
monologue of constant badgering.

It wasn't the party
I had in mind,
I even tried to
close the door
on the Mad Chatter's Ball.

thank you annette
The first stanza made so much sense. thoughts overtaking reality, things to do, say, etc.

But then, seemed your destination was going another way. It becomes a Man poem! Seems
the Chatters Ball doesn't exist over the barbie or down the pub! :))

Fun write, some logic, little nudge.. enjoyed.
