The mirror cracked.

The mirror cracked.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

How many stories
did the mirror reflect?

Over how many centuries
did the mirror absorb?

When did the mirror
decide to mirror?

Did the mirror
stand for all
reflections
of objects presented?

Why did the mirror crack?

Was it based on serving
the masses reflecting
on vanities self absorbed
while being selfless in
portraying?

Or did the mirror
see itself?

Who's trapped inside the mirror?

Who's watching from the inside?

i definitely can see how ego could crack many mirrors...
i always wondered how mirrors felt...
and what they felt about those looking in.

In my imagination, me too. If only they talked! :-)
