In a hand shake!

In a hand shake!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

When God allows,
the devil collects,
it's just one hand
feeding the other.

Hand in hand,
they go together.

Hi devil!
It's God here!

I have a problem,
there's too many people
queuing at heaven's gate.

Yes! A bit like earth
with the refugee crisis.
Yes! Bloody refugees!

Can you do me a favour
and take some?

Sure!
Great! That's a good fellow!

I say, you're not that bad!
Yes I know!

Anything else?
No! That's all! Okay I must go!

The devil is in the details- Ha! What a macabre vignette you describe in this poem. A polite 'Gentlemen's Agreement" for the mutual benefit?? Wicked good satire...wait....is it really satire??!! Great Andrew!
