What now brown cow!

What now brown cow!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The blanket of innocence
comforted me
when I was a boy,
I knew no better,
but when adulthood arrived
it was so problematic.
I had uncertainty on one side
brief as it may,
while the other was ignorance
somewhat bliss,
and then there was
the middle....
with all the challenges
that would never go away.

I miss my innocence.
