Interesting poem. Overall good idea, however it missed on being true Tanka format. Line one is four syllables and should be five (unless Aussie inflections or pronunciation makes it into 5 ?).

Captain Andrew will scuttle your vessels and make you pay the price when your "ink of burglary" is discovered! "The piracy of thoughts"-yes! The most heinous of crimes. This is a metaphoric gem and Master Class poem my friend.
