If I were a chapter.

If I were a chapter.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

If I was an actor
my thoughts could act,
if I were a painter,
my images I would paint,
maybe if I was outspoken
I could speak outloud,
however, I'm just a thinker
who writes,
but what if I was
someone else's story,
I would be their page,
maybe a chapter....
living in
a part of their book.
Are we not all stories
of our own,
sometimes
found in other's stories?
