The pen.

The pen.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The pen
was no more
than the umblical cord
between thoughts
and the reader
reaching out.

The pen gives life to thoughts which in turn feeds the reader.
Beautifully describe... Poetry needs both indeed...

thank you very much m.a.
dear Andrew... a baby in the womb needs reassurance that love awaits with soft caresses of
warmth and nourishment. As poets we reach out for
the light that breaks upon a new day of discovery.
