The train journey of life.

The train journey of life.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

All aboard for the final epilogue,
a train journey of age
involving many stops;
some short,some long,
pulling into a station of no return

was no more a final destination....,
your stop to disembark,
time to get off, borrowed,
but spent, a burial of thoughts
on the travels of time
the course is over,
while the train time
must go on
