A helping hand.

A helping hand.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

In my dreams I was
timekeeper of Big Ben.
Annoyed, I tried to stop
the wretched ticks
by holding onto
the hands of time.
In my effort,
I was hung at twelve,
and dropped at six.
Gravity took over!

THis is almost as surreal as when we bought a sundial from Australia to England and found that time went backwards......and it wasn't a dream!!
