How was your trip? Embarassing!

How was your trip? Embarassing!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

What is a trip,
but another send off,
a brief vacation,
a different perspective
from the ground up,
that plunge forward,
a slight imbalance
accompanied by a landing
heavy footed with the cries
of a rather crude nature.
Only to gather
one's composure,
get up; done and dusted,
act normal,
then try again
when no ones looking.
A hop, a skip and a jump!
How was your trip?
Embarassing!

Ha! I've taken many such "trips" myself- especially on ice and snow! "A different perspective" and a truly humbling one..."Act normal, then try again"- red-faced, tear-stained and all. Love this Andrew!
