When time carves the geometry on love.

When time carves the geometry on love.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The diameter of your smile
was no more than
the circumference of your love
contained within our circle,
but will we escape the circular saw of life?

For time, the carpenter
carves out the rest of our lives,
the shavings of our journeys
lay scattered on remembrance.

Sometimes we throw shapes with people who come into our lives - when they leave us, they leave their mark.
I like the change in tone in the second stanza A.M.

Thank you Tony for your kind words and nice to see you on the site once more!
i was terrible at Geometry...and thus it translated into me screwing up the circle...when it came to the radius of love...

There will always be residue of some kind in a relationship. Whether that's good residue or bad, we hold the key.
