Harbouring love.

Harbouring love.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Her love anchors
in his heart's estuaries,
waiting to dock.

He hesitates....
reluctant to open the flood gates
in fear of washing her away.

With the risk of hurt
always pending,
he decides to
remain closed;
private property,
and a sign depicting boldly -
TRESPASSERS PROSECUTED.
