A Poem by andrew mitchell

When I saw the daybreak,
I saw the clouds open,
I saw nightfall,
washed by rain,
I saw the moon smile
on the sun disappearing,
I saw the wind howl
on the waves crashing...
I saw what was happening
on a horizon always there,
I saw everything....
that I needed to know,
I felt safe on knowing
what I saw....
I smiled and
Mother smile with me.
