Uncomfortably numb.

Uncomfortably numb.

A Poem by andrew mitchell
"

Dark scribbles.

"
Lost in the wilderness of mind
where memories are stranded,
moored in alcohol fuelled wetlands,
the synaptic bridges broken
with clouded visions that
battle the tides, now obscure;
euphoric numbness resides
wandering desolate grounds
erased, and a bottle
lying empty.

Thanks Courtney
Wow-powerful and nightmarish altered state of consciousness despair. "Lost in the wilderness of mind"..." a bottle lying empty".. a mind succumbing to numbness. Great imagery and metaphor. Kudos!
