The wolf whistle.

The wolf whistle.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Do not become out of tune
with the steps of time
lagging behind

you may not hear
the Pipe Piper whistling....

now lost
you may end up
in the wolf's lair.

Thanks for your words J.
yes...one may end up in much more than the lair if one gets so overbearing and vulgar as to appreciate a woman's beauty ...so sad that things have changed so much ..i tried to hold the door for a professor at the college i attended in the 70's .. and was rebuffed for having insulted her brand of "womanhood" ...you know i meant nothing but respect for her...her profession and her gender .. oh well... i got burned learned ...but it is boding unwell for the sexes these days ..more and more ..i'll just stay hold up in my quiet little mouse hole i guess ..its safer :{

The wolf's lair. Bad place to end-up. Nice tale and wisdom shared in the poem my friend. Thank you Andrew for sharing the amazing poetry.
