The rewriting of fairytales today is looking grim!

The rewriting of fairytales today is looking grim!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

It was labelled inappropriate
to kiss the sleeping beauty
without having her consent.

Now an exhibition
queues walked past,
as many suited for the role
wondered....
as she now sleeps for eternity.

The comatose beauty
shows no sign of life
in these so called better times
while a sign read “ Sleep no more!”
lies on the ground broken.
