Lifesavers could not save you.

Lifesavers could not save you.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Love
hides in puddles
where the rip
drags you in.

Drowning
the current takes you
'til the last breath
you rise

the heart unknowing
the love still flowing
you will cry
when all is dried.

Lifesavers cannot save you
but there will always be puddles,
from which you
will always dive.
