Living in a pathetic law abiding western country! Disgraceful!

We are a pathetic society

giving rights to those 

that do wrong doings

allowing them the avenues

to continue their crimes

from which we subsidize

by paying taxes, hard earned

to let them dwell plus their lawyers expenses

while we allow the victims 

to suffer, totally forgotten

as the judge of justice 

lays down the punishment

that does not reflect the crime.

We live in hell when ball- less judges

don't have the testosterone

to make decisions that protect

but rather support the anarchy

and degradation of society

with the free flow of drugs

to desensitise the pain.

Only when the judges and politicians

have their loved ones raped, 

tortured, and murdered

will they realise the public view. 

Sadly bring it on!

We live in a sad world where

political correctness supports the crime

and governments can only offer sorry

while the police are busy raising revenue

collecting speeding fines or

beating up defenceless people.

Today's Robin Hoods  have it made

without Sherwood Forest

just robbing and killing the poor

 or letting the terrorists to reside

with complete freedom because we are

a country living in denial " It won't happen to us!"

except in the Eastern Block Countries

where this behaviour that threatens society

is not accepted and is dealt with promptly

and furthermore silently.

In western society

too many rights

don't make it right

especially those

who think they are righteous

where laws are weak

and the wrong just love

the current amendments.

We have become a pathetic society!

Survival of the fittest from the animal kingdom

has stepped out from the television

onto your lounge floor

where the laws now

won't protect you!

Your time is up when

there's a knocking on your door

and the uniforms wait till its all over.

Meanwhile the threat of North Korea

seems more important in the news

to distract the viewers from

a country's self destruction.

i hope you feel better Andrew...great letter to send your representatives etc.... criminals account for an astounding percentage of federal and civil law suites brought frivolously to the courts...effectively clogging up the works ..at our expense ... i read in the Readers Digest about an interview with a prisoner who was bringing his 50+ law suite against his ex wife to gain custody of their children ..while he is in prison .. when asked when he would stop ..he replied "never" ..meanwhile every time he did this he made more destitute his children and their mother ... i feel you frustrations sir ...we have enacted some law that has made these kinds of suites more difficult to get before a judge ...it doesn't take much common sense to know when a law suite has legitimacy ... love ya man!

I'm fine thanks Einstein just corruption in our systems just irks me and if you say anything about the Govt they get the Tax office to do an audit going back 7 yrs just to cause one some trouble. The Netherlands have closed 8 prisons due to a lack of criminals lol.

What a rant, Andrew! Especially at this time of year!

But i have to say, as a fellow Australian, that i agree with your views here. We are struggling for breath under this suffocating mask of political correctness and leftist identity politics. Mad cap ideas are given greater precedence than the common sense ideas that the majority long for and want implemented to make our lives easier. The politicians bicker amongst themselves like egotistical children, the justice system is too sympathetic to the crimes of perpetrators while the victims are put through the ringer of shame and partial blame. And amongst all this, the rich get richer, the poor get poorer and the genius's in charge of foreign policy want to let ex-Isis fighters return to the country to wreak their havoc on the populace. You are mightily correct. We are on the road to oblivion. Unless common sense and centre conservative politics starts to take control. The chances of sanity prevailing are becoming more distant by the day. Unless we speak out and rise up like you have done so here in this piece, western societies will doom themselves to implosion.

A strongly written piece of work. Very different from your usual work. But i applaud the intensity and courage in this piece.

There is so much truth in your writing.. will willingly exchange in the future but have promised self a peaceful mind for a few days.
