What happens after nine lives?

What happens after nine lives?

A Poem by andrew mitchell
"

fictional scribbles

"
The positive out of dying
is you only die once,
regardless of nine lives.
Life wasn't meant
to be easy they say,
and that's why death
became an option.
Life and death
has always been
today's separation.

Another deep write, Andrew. This must be the Philosophy period of your writing life!

The irony is people are afraid of dying but also would never want to live forever. Quite a conundrum.

The alternative, i guess, is to be a dog lover! At least you die only once! Not like those bloody cats! Nine lives to use our lawns as their own personal cat litter!

Your writes are exercising my synapses of late. Keep them coming!

Many thanks Doodley.
WILL LIFE AND DEATH BE A UNION RATHER THAN A SEPARATION? THE POEM TELLS US WHAT CAN BE EXPECTED MAYBE IN THE NEXT LIFE OR IF BELIEVED TO BE TRUE, THE AFTERLIFE

It must be nice to possess nine lives. A contemplative poem on life and death and life's meaning in a short form. Why is a question for curiosity. Magical.
