Attached to your outer diameter I was, but not your inner circle!

Attached to your outer diameter I was, but not your inner circle!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

You knew I would come back
after all I was in
your circumference,
but did I get close
to your epi-centre?

I think not,
as I felt thrown into orbit,
slingshot once more
on a trajectory propelled
far away on your final word goodbye-
never to cross paths again.
