Once upon a time
common sense reached
the finishing line.

Now forever entangled
in beaucratic red tape,
twisted, distorted,

commonsense never
reaches the end
as idiocy now rules.

yes, idiocy is there like in the old Road Runner cartoons...always trying to use Acme logic to trip up that wisdom and common sense...but hopefully they will win the race anyway.
