Where did that tune come from?

Where did that tune come from?

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Do not ask me
where I am
my thoughts are
carried by the wind.

What I'm thinking floats
on senses searching
for lyrics that make sense
that creates music in mind.

So for now
I'm on the outside
looking inside.

What do I see!
Just musical notes
a tenor or two!

Drifting in search
on the plucking of notes,
the pulling of strings
to be compiled....

towards the making
of that founded verse -
the tune has to be
somewhere.

yes, somewhere in the crevasses hides the music, waiting for us to pluck it out and make song.
