To the heights, hold on!

To the heights, hold on!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

The oral staircase to success
was shout to the top.
Of course there were
other means
the traditional
long way to the top,
and before that there was
“ Getting to know you”
a more unconventional approach
involving sometimes, the removing
of all types of clothing.
This was the fastest lane to success
but invariably short
given the quick exit.
Yes! Climb every mountain had
it’s downfalls.
Luckily for me
I was always the ground man.
Looking up was not a pretty sight!

I bet you were able to see a lot of bodies fall hard and messy. Nothing wrong being the pick up man. Nice poem. I enjoyed it.
