A poetic symbol.

A poetic symbol.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

As poetic as it may be
there was something
satisfying
screwing up a paper of verse,
only to have it aimed
at the discard bin
never to be returned-
the damnation of verse,
a poetic symbol or
just poetic justice.
