Of all the birds!

Of all the birds!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Of all the birds,
you had to pick that one!
Why? Why? Why?
The white dove,
the symbol of peace,
sorry no way!
They’re fat,
And they’re lazy,
not forgetting
they defecate everywhere.
Must have been one of those
bad decision moments.
Coo! Coo!
If I hear that sound once more I ..........
Of all the birds we have lost through extinction,
we had to end up with this one ,
and their cousins the pigeon!
Where’s a cat when you need them!
Don’t tell me they’re fat and lazy too!

This is just Alfred Hitchcock’s Birds
all over again with lots of poo!
