Hard to fathom swallow!

Hard to fathom swallow!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

From the bitter pill
swallowed,
it was sweet
at the end.

It never came back,
It sank in the sorrows,

until regurgitated
from memories past,

coughed up

the bitter pill for tomorrow
was tasted on thy lips.

Like carrots in the sick
you never disappeared.
