When a little bother goes along way!

When a little bother goes along way!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Why the desire? said Urge.
All the better for a squandered life
to catch up on misspent youth.
Why look? said the Eye.
When beauty is all but skin deep!
All the better to follow your path.
Why the hush? said Quiet.
All the better for whispers
 to twirl the senses blind.
Why bother? said Chance.
Arr! But to fill the chalice
of a heart drained empty.
Why the love? said Heart
To quench the mind
so that you can be broken,
to tame what is wild.
Why the hurry? said speed.
Because time is not by your side.
Why at all? said the mind
You ask too many questions!

Smiled! Wit following questions eager to be laid and - each one relevant. Cleverly worded, aptly ended.. but without its yet to be found... finish! Life's not that simple.
