Somewhere inside a memory.

Somewhere inside a memory.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Somewhere between
nothingness and eternity
a candle flame of memories
burns in the traffic of
matters of no importance
where the black hole waits.

Andrew, andrew, andrew this is one of your most atypical writes and what a deeply moving one this is. This strikes a chord with what emotions one is going through. Memories are the little tyrannies of time, which dwell in the crevices of the mind, refusing to yield way to new events lest they be replaced. Love it, absolutely do.

You deserve it Andrew. Look forward to reading many such works. Cheers!
'traffic of matters of no importance' - I suppose we have it all wrong in assigning which 'matters' are of no importance.
This is somewhat different from your usual style in terms of subject (I think) but I like and relate to it very much.
