The web of deceit!

The web of deceit!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

As the winds of time
shook the very fabric
of his foundations,
he found himself entangled
in the cobwebs of life
not knowing which spider
was a good spider.

My husband says the only good spider is a dead spider, but since I don't fear them, I'm ok with them. They eat bugs; what's not to like?
But, yes, I understand that, sometimes, a spider is not a spider...I like how you said this. 'The cobwebs of life' is nice imagery.
