Under your gaze.

Under your gaze.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Under your gaze
historical pages
flutter in the wind
blowing memories littered.

Road kill smokes on the road side,
reflecting the crow's eye.
Ant Lion roars;
as ant hill is no more.

The birds and the bees scamper
hurriedly naked under cover,
the prophecy of darkness
moves in these shadows.

While the clock
on the wall ticks, stops;
words are on the move, spoken
hit the wall
as miserable ghosts look on
disgruntled.
