The charade of walking like an Egyptian!

The charade of walking like an Egyptian!

A Poem by andrew mitchell

If the writing was on the wall
only the hieroglyphics remain,
charades anyone?
Only the pharaohs knew
how the Egyptians walked
while the shades of shadows
formed pyramids.
And so the walk that talked
was drawn in pictures,
little did they know
they had photographic memories
against desert sands,
stood their templed minds
in an oasis of thoughts.
