The prophecy of life.

The prophecy of life.

A Poem by andrew mitchell

Eat well with a balanced diet, sleep well,
exercise, don’t stress,
drink plenty of water,
and you’re going to die anyway.

Or you can eat poorly, drink, smoke,
stress, sleep badly, no exercise
with plenty of water,
and still you’re going to die anyway!

Mortality,
when the choice to choose
doesn’t matter!

On Sundays go to church pray,
or don’t go to church,
and don’t pray,
it doesn’t matter.

You’re going to die anyway!

Mortality, when you don’t get to choose,
except your funeral plan!
